We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead the culinary team at our prestigious Coach House Brasserie. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the delivery of exceptional culinary experiences and maintaining high standards of food quality. Reporting directly to the Executive Head Chef, you will play a crucial role in creating innovative and delicious menus while leading and inspiring a team of talented culinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
Culinary Leadership
Develop and execute creative menus, showcasing a fusion of traditional and contemporary brasserie-style cuisine.
Maintain a deep understanding of current food trends and customer preferences to create a diverse and enticing menu selection.
Ensure all dishes are prepared with attention to detail, quality, taste, and presentation, maintaining the highest standards.
Continuously refine recipes, techniques, and processes to enhance the overall dining experience.
Kitchen Operations
Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Manage inventory levels, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency.
Implement and maintain proper food safety and hygiene standards, ensuring compliance with local health regulations.
Collaborate with the Executive Head Chef to develop and update standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency and quality
Lead, train, and inspire a team of culinary professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for skills development.
Foster a culture of teamwork, creativity, and excellence, motivating the team to deliver outstanding culinary experiences.
Work closely with the Executive Head Chef to recruit and onboard new team members, ensuring a skilled and cohesive kitchen staff.
Collaborate with the Executive Head Chef and other department heads to create a cohesive and unified guest experience.
Effectively communicate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and the dining area.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients and maintain good working relationships.
