Compliance Manager
A demanding position which requires an individual to work flexibility and travel across Northern Ireland and also use their own initiative in a fast moving environment.
About the role
Responsible for ensuring Compliance and Enforcement of all quality, environmental, safety and health policies and procedures.
Developing and implementing safety programs tailored to the organisation's specific needs.
Conducting risk assessments
Ensuring regulatory compliance
Collaboration and communication on all H&S related matters
Monitoring health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace
Generation and maintenance of quality documentation in line with current legislation
Reporting, investigating, analysing and documenting all QESH incidents.
Acting as Safety training coordinator
Undertaking inspections, safety reports and risk assessments
Internal reporting and auditing
Compliance and Enforcements of all QA requirements with the generation and maintenance of QA documentation.
Responsible for ensuring all employees have the appropriate Health and Safety Training for their role.
Internal auditing and QMS Review
Liaise with insurance provider regarding any accidents or issues
Any other ad hoc tasks
What you will need
Required criteria
- NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent Health and Safety qualification
- A minimun of 5 years' experience in the Engineering, Construction Industry or similar environment in a Health & Safety role
- Working knowledge of Quality Assurance within the construction industry
- Good knowledge of safe construction methods of work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
- Strong knowledge of Legislation in relation to Health & Safety
- Working experience of auditing / operating ISO 9001/14001/18001 accreditation system
- Full UK Driving Licence
