Accounts Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk
Job Objective
Loughview Leisure Group have a new and exciting opportunity for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance part-time basis, 20 hours per week. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing and dynamic organisation.
About the role
Main Responsibilities
Receiving purchase invoices for 3 hotels via both email and post
Checking and coding purchase invoices and entering them on Sage in a timely and accurate manner
Dealing with invoice queries and responding to supplier payment requests via telephone and email
Updating supplier payment requests list and preparing payments on Sage for authorisation and input to the bank
Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing ones
Providing administrative support to other departments – eg photocopying, scanning, responding to emails
Support the accounts team with any further duties as and when required
What you will need
Required criteria
- GCSE grade A-C in English Language and Math or equivalent qualifications
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy
- Available to work some Public holidays and occasional weekends on a rota basis.
Desired criteria
- 1 years experience in an Accounts Assistant role
- Experience of using Sage Accounts packages
- Ability to commute reliably
