Evergreen Care is seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team based in Dunboyne, Co Meath.

The successful candidate will handle various tasks related to Posting & Reviewing Invoices, Reconcilliation & Communicating with Suppliers as well as other tasks.

About the role

Key Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

·         Posting and reviewing supplier invoices on Sage

·         Reconciling creditor statements

·         Preparing monthly payment runs and send remittances to suppliers

·         Post bank transactions on Sage

·         Complete weekly Bank reconciliations

·         Petty cash reconciliation

·         Communicating with suppliers and resolving any issues

·         Ensuring that all accounts payable activities comply with relevant financial policies and procedures

Requirements

 ·         Proven 2 years’ experience in Accounts Payable role

·         Full clean driving license and access to own vehicle as multi site visits may be required

·         Strong knowledge of accounts payable procedures and accounting principles.

·         Strong communication skills and ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

·         Comfortable doing creditor reconciliations

·         Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

·         Knowledge of Sage 50 is desirable

·         Strong background in Excel and other MS Functions

·         Ability to meet deadlines

·         Strong references & permission to work & reside
