MATERNITY COVER STARTING IMMEDIATELY

The role is working within our Surveying department for our client Northern Ireland Water

We require an additional Land Surveyor to assist our existing Survey team to cover maternity leave. There is potential to extend this to a permanent position

Must have good attention to detail and be able to provide concise and accurate results

The role involves travel throughout Co. Antrim, Co. Armagh and Co. Down

Must have a full driving licence / Morrows van provided

Must have knowledge of MS Office

Hours are: Monday - Friday (08:00 - 17:00)

About the role

The surveying team are responsible for the collection of GPS points for all physically installed utility assets to a high and accurate standard and ensuring the data is uploaded to our GIS system successfully.

The role will involve the use of Trimble GPS kits to survey Utility works carried out by our teams both in the public sector and within residential developments.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in Surveying/Utilities management/Civil Engineering and should be enthusiastic in their approach to learn new skills as well as developing upon those already gained.

What you will need

Required criteria

  • Computer literate - MS Office
  • Attention to detail

Desired criteria

  • Experience using GPS
  • Knowledge of GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
  • Knowledge & experience in clean water & sewerage installation
  • Previous experience within Civil Engineering (Utilities preferred)
  • Possess a CSR Card
