Guild Care, a leading not-for-profit charity, is looking for an experienced and dedicated Nights Coordinator to oversee one of our care homes during night shifts. This is a rewarding opportunity to take the lead, provide reassurance, and ensure quality, person-centred care is delivered throughout the night.
About the role
🌙 Your Role
• Support the nursing team with the safe and effective running of the home during night hours.
Lead, support, and supervise the night team to deliver compassionate, person-centred care.
Ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and wellbeing needs are met throughout the night.
Monitor care standards and ensure accurate documentation and handovers.
Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies or unexpected situations.
Promote dignity, choice, and independence for every resident.
Maintain a safe, quiet, and reassuring environment for residents and staff alike.
Work collaboratively with day staff to ensure consistency and continuity of care.
🌙 About You
You have experience working in a care or nursing environment, ideally supporting older people or those living with dementia.
You have the confidence and ability to lead a team during night shifts.
You’re calm under pressure, with excellent communication and decision-making skills.
You have a caring, compassionate nature and a commitment to upholding high standards of care.
You may be a registered nurse, senior carer, or experienced team leader – what matters most is your leadership, empathy, and professionalism.
