Platinum Expo is a specialist design and joinery workshop manufacturing bespoke displays, retail fixtures and exhibition stands for luxury and cosmetic retail clients. Our work includes shop fittings, window displays and custom-built furniture across a wide range of sectors.
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Bench Joiner to join our busy manufacturing workshop. This is a hands-on joinery role producing high-quality bespoke furniture and fixtures, working closely with our in-house design team.
This position would suit a time-served joiner who enjoys working with different materials and finishes and takes pride in delivering well-crafted work to a high standard.

About the role
Duties will include:
Manufacturing bespoke fixtures and furniture using standard joinery techniques
Constructing MDF units, laminating, and preparing items for painting or graphic application
Reading and working from manufacturing drawings
Assisting with the installation of fixtures at client premises, primarily in retail environments
Working collaboratively with the wider workshop team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification
Maintaining high quality standards and safe working practices at all times
What you will need
Required criteria
- A good standard of education, including English and Mathematics to GCSE Grade C (or equivalent)
- Ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings
- Practical experience (gained post-apprenticeship)
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and standard joinery processes
- Full and valid UK driving licence
