We have an exciting opportunity for a Home Manager at Ailsa Lodge Care Home, Bangor.

Location – Ailsa Lodge Care Home, Bangor

Salary – Market leading remuneration package

Hours – Full time

The home currently has a strong management structure and existing staff team, who are at the heart of everything we do and who are ready to welcome and support you; to continue their successful delivery of the highest standard of care.

About You:You will be a supportive and caring Manager, with a passion for elderly care, who will provide ongoing guidance to your team and be able to deliver effective clinical leadership.

You will be well versed in the Care Planning process and clinical assessment tools. You will be keen to develop your leadership skills and clinical knowledge, capable of building close relationships with Residents and their families, and determined to drive continuous improvement.

About the role

Your New Role:
As Registered Manager you will support the care team to ensure we fully meet Residents’ medical, physical and emotional needs. You will mentor and motivate colleagues; champion Residents’ safety and dignity whilst ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework.

You will also oversee all aspects of the Home, ensuring each function is efficient and effective to the needs of the Residents including:
- Operational management of the nursing home.
- Clinical expertise and sound knowledge of best practice in dementia care.
- Guiding, instructing and monitoring professional nursing staff, student nurses, health care assistants and other ancillary staff in the home.
- Engaging with staff and promoting a positive workplace culture.
