We are currently recruiting dedicated Care Assistants / Healthcare Assistants to support both children and adults with complex needs.

Available Role: Health Care Assistant, Burton-On-Trent DE15Hours:  Monday - Friday 10:00 - 16:00Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour

About the role

Key Responsibilities (All Roles)

  • Provide compassionate, person‑centred care in accordance with individual care plans

  • Support with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living tasks

  • Promote dignity, independence, and emotional wellbeing

  • Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care records

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families

  • Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policies

Role-Specific Responsibilities

  • Support a wheelchair user who is hoist‑dependent

  • Deliver personal care and assistance with daily routines

  • Encourage independence and engagement in creative interests (e.g., music, drama, art, technology)

  • Assist with and promote the use of communication aids

  • Communicate effectively with family members and external professionals


What We’re Looking For

✔ At least 6 months of care experience in the UK
✔ Experience working with children or individuals with complex needs (desirable, not essential)
✔ A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach
✔ Strong verbal and written English skills
✔ Ability to work both independently and within a team
✔ Basic IT skills for completing documentation
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
