We are currently recruiting dedicated Care Assistants / Healthcare Assistants to support both children and adults with complex needs.
Available Role: Health Care Assistant, Burton-On-Trent DE15Hours: Monday - Friday 10:00 - 16:00Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour
About the role
Key Responsibilities (All Roles)
Provide compassionate, person‑centred care in accordance with individual care plans
Support with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living tasks
Promote dignity, independence, and emotional wellbeing
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date care records
Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their families
Adhere to all health & safety regulations and company policies
Role-Specific Responsibilities
Support a wheelchair user who is hoist‑dependent
Deliver personal care and assistance with daily routines
Encourage independence and engagement in creative interests (e.g., music, drama, art, technology)
Assist with and promote the use of communication aids
Communicate effectively with family members and external professionals
What We’re Looking For
✔ At least 6 months of care experience in the UK
✔ Experience working with children or individuals with complex needs (desirable, not essential)
✔ A compassionate, patient, and dependable approach
✔ Strong verbal and written English skills
✔ Ability to work both independently and within a team
✔ Basic IT skills for completing documentation
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
✔ Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
